Bungy jumping is both challenging and owes inspiring adventure game. The remarkable 500ft (160m) drop into the Bhoti Kosi River gorge on the Nepal/Tibet border is the longest Free-fall in the world. The ultimate thrill of a bungy jump can be experienced at one of the best sites around the Himalayas. Nepal's bunjy jumping site is situated 160 meters over the wild Bhote Kosi River. This site is located close to the Nepal-Tibet border from Kathmandu.
There is only one agency offering this sport. The jump, at 160m, was designed by one of New Zealand's leading bungy consultants. Likewise, it is operated by some of the most experienced jump masters in the business.
Bungy Jumping Tour Itinerary
After 3 hrs drive from Kathmandu you are likely to find yourselves on a 166m wide steel suspension bridge over the Bhoti Kosi River gorge which is located at an altitude of 3600 feet. Your Bungy jumping tour is likely to complete within a single day. However if you have more free time it is likely to run for four days that is scheduled as:
Day 01: Our first day for bungy jumping tour directly takes us to the spot where we will travel along Arniko (Kathmandu/Lhasa) Highway) for about three hours. After our arrival we will be provided with necessary ideas and information that facilitate to prepare ourselves for Bungy. After this thrilling and memorable life experience we will rest for sometimes. At night we will either stay at the resort or drive back to Kathmandu.
However, if we have enough time then you can plan ahead as given below:
Day 02: After breakfast, beautiful cannoning trip to The Bhote Kosi River cliff delights us. This is also one of the most exciting adventure trips that add some other forms of enchanting colors along with adventurous bungy jumping.
Day 03: Rafting trip on Bhote Koshi River is another memorable experience to follow. Adventure lover can enjoy its challenging rapids and overnight camp.
Day 04: After breakfast, you are likely to continue rafting again. Finally, you will drive back to Kathmandu.
