Bardia National Park is a protected area in Nepal that was established in 1988 as Royal Bardia National Park. Royal Bardia national park provides an outstanding wilderness understanding for visitors. Distinctive flora, fauna and scenery of the park and indigenous culture of buffer zone communities are imperative attraction for the tourists during jungle safari in Bardia Park. The wide range of plant life in forest and grassland presents an excellent territory for 642 faunal species. Spend 3 nights and 4 days inside the national park with boundless plethora of amuse, adventure, enthusiasm and gratification.
3 Nights 4 Days package inside Bardiya National Park which is home to at least 53 mammals including 23 reptiles and amphibians and 407 bird species is full of every jungle activities. The park is home to endangered animals such as the Royal Bengal tiger, wild elephant, Greater one-horned rhinoceros, swamp deer, and black buck. During your pleasurable visit to the park, you get ample opportunity to enjoy elephant safari, bird watching, rafting along Karnali River, village tour, cultural program and crocodile breeding center tour.
To explore the vast area of National park, Jeep drive is also the way to observe the wildlife. You will gain insight the indigenous Tharus, the ancient native people of the Bardia jungle during your 3 nights and 4 days trip. Also experience the local routes and typical lifestyles of villagers. You can travel through open grassland and dense forest on elephant back in search of rare wildlife. We will have walk around the prime areas of the park to view nature's gifts like wild species of animal and birds blended with the surrounding flora and fauna.
You will be picked up at the arrival point. You'll be welcomed with drinks and snacks and after having some rest there will be short briefing on program. After lunch, visit to crocodile breeding center and tharu village. Rests of the day enjoy the jungle jeep drive inside the forest. Enjoy the dinner and overnight stay at resort.
Day 2: After breakfast enjoy the jungle walk by foot and get ready for jungle safari on elephant's back. You can join Dugout canoe ride. At evening get intermingle with the traditional tharu dance.
Day 3: Today whole day you will enjoy the jungle walk with ready packed lunch. Walk and have close glimpses of tiger and rhinos. Enjoy the dolphin place. Come back to Lodge Dinner Over night at lodge.
Day 4: You will enjoy the wake up call tea or coffee. With having your breakfast, you will drive for return journey.
Crocodile Breeding Centre:
There is a crocodile breeding center at the park headquarter for Gharial and Marsh mugger to increase it’s number, which includes two major sections-hatchery and rearing sections. We will have an exciting visit to the crocodile breeding centre in the national park.
To explore the vast area of National park Jeep drive is also the way to observe the wildlife. We will take you across in to the jungle in four wheels drive vehicles and have more frequent sightings of the parks unique animals, vegetation and birds. You can stop the jeep and walk to the animal possibilities area as well as see the various types of forests and natural beauty and scenery.
Karnali River Rafting:
An early morning 30 km drive by jeep will drop you by the Karnali River. Rafting is an great opportunities to sight the river birds, Asiatic gangetic dolphin, crocodiles, insects, three big animals and many more living in the river system as well as a great fishing in the river. Swimming is also possible and sometimes even the dolphins may join to your excitement.
Tharu village tour:
The jungle scenery, birds and animals alone do not make up the unique features of Bardia National Park. You will gain insight the indigenous Tharus, the ancient native people of the Bardia jungle. Also experience the local routes and typical lifestyles of villagers. This gives visitors an opportunity to intermingle with locals and get familiarity with their culture and traditions.
Elephant safari is also the safest way to explore the wildlife up close. You will be taken into the bush and natural habitat of the quiet and beautiful jungle, which provides a different view of the park. You can travel through open grassland and dense forest on elephant back in search of rare wildlife. Your Elephant ride or known as Jungle Safari experiences Asian Elephant, Great One Horned Rhinoceros, Spotted Deer or Chital, Hog Deer, Barking Deer, Samber, Swamp Deer or Barasinghe, Nilgai or Blue Bull, Black Buck, Wild Boar, Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Wild Dog, Golden Jackal, Striped Hyena and many more.
Jungle/ Nature Walk:
Our jungle guide and wildlife tracker will take you to the jungle to point out the hidden life of the wildlife, where you can have wildlife experiences by walking safely, quietly, and leisurely through the forest as well as riverside. A highlight of this trip will be the viewing from the watch towers (Machhan) to have the wild sightseeing. We will have walk around the prime areas of the park to view nature's gifts like wild species of animal and birds blended with the surrounding flora and fauna.
A cultural program performed by the Tharus is another way to enjoy and make significant contrast of visit. Get entertain with stick dances and folk songs. The drumbeat and the agile breathtaking stick dance performed by the Tharus people. Their rhythmic movements and the exciting drumbeat may urge you to join them in their performances.
