Chitwan National Park Safari is amazing with jungle walk, elephant safari, bird watching, canoeing, elephant bathing, culture visit and traditional shows and many more activities to make much enjoyable trip. There are around 600 plants species, 50 mammals, 526 birds and 49 amphibians, reptiles found in the Chitwan national park. The Chitwan sanctuary is also renowned for an impeccable 450 species of birds, both resident and migratory, and many of them rare.
You will be able to see the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and, if lucky, the Royal Bengal tiger. 2 night 3 days package inside Chitwan national park involves nature walk to encounter with the environment will introduce the main features of eastern Chitwan; Sal forest, open grassland and reverie jungle. You can have the unique experience of driving jeep in to the jungle. You can go into the jungle and park to view birds and animals. Traditional dug-out canoe takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti River to view aquatic birds and the animals of the river banks. Farmers of the nearby villages and tharu village people will show some of their traditional culture and dances. This can give family a fun and interactive insight into life in Chitwan.
2 Nights/ 3 Days Chitwan Jungle Safari
Day 1: Today you'll arrive at Bharatpur airport if by flight or at Citrasari if you get by road drive. You would be picked up get transferred to resort. After the lunch and drink, there will be a short briefing on the program. At 1:00 p.m.: Lunch. 3:30 p.m.: Elephant Safari / Jungle Walk / Nature walk with Boat ride. 8:00 p.m.: Dinner.
Day 2: 5:30 a.m.: Wake up call followed by tea/coffee. 6:00 a.m.: Bird watching / Elephant Safari / Jungle walk. 8:00 a.m.: Breakfast. 9:30 a.m.: Crocodile walk. A 45 minutes walk through grassland and forest upstream of the Narayani River. Board boats to observe crocodiles along the bands while floating back to the camp. 1:00 p.m.: Lunch. 3:30 p.m.: Elephant Safari /Jungle Walk / Visit Observation Tower / Nature Walk with Boat Ride. 8:00 p.m.: Dinner.
Day 3: 5:30 am – wake up call, followed by tea/coffee 6:00 am – Bird watching/Elephant safari/jungle walk 8:00 am – Breakfast 9: 00 am – Final departure.
What to Bring?
Chitwan National park has a sub-tropical climate. Light clothes with natural colors are recommended. During the winter months from November to early March the morning and evening are cold and warm clothes are necessary. Casual comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended during the day for easy movement. In the rainy season July, August and September, rainwear is a must. We highly recommended our guests to bring a Camera, Binoculars, Torch, Insect repellent, swim wear, Sunhat and Sun protection for outdoor activities.
How to get there?
There is daily flight from Kathmandu to Bharatpur/Kathmandu by Yeti and Buddha Air, which takes about 25 minutes. On your arrival at the Airport our representative will meet you and take you to the hotel, where Lunch is waiting for you.
There are daily tourist bus services from Kathmandu and Pokahra which is about five hours drive, private car is more comfortable and easy way, which give you a time to explore the places in between also such as Cable Car at Manakamana, Bandipur if you travel from Pokhara. The drive has picturesque view of river and valleys along the Prithivi highway and Mugling – Narayanghat road, for the bus transport we will arrange a pick up from bus station to the hotel, you will arrive at the camp for lunch.
From Kathmandu / Pokhara, we can transport you to rafting put in point on Trishuli River where you will be dropped off for a white water rafting experience. During the journey you can enjoy high and low water waves and surroundings scenery which will be about 3 and half hour rafting, after having simple lodge you will take about 1 and half hour drive to the hotel. ( if you arranges the private car transportation for rafting it is very easy for you, you can go on public transport also but not available frequently)

You can travel through open grassland and dense forest on elephant back in search of rare wildlife. Your Elephant ride or known as Jungle Safari experiences one horned rhino, various species of deer, wild boar, sloth bear, leopard, bison and the big one, the Royal Bengal tiger etc. Elephant safari through the jungle provides more game spotting opportunities than might be expected otherwise as it goes deeper into the jungle.
Jungle walk is another way of experience the wilderness. You can enjoy a natural walk in the jungle in safety accompanied by our well trained naturalist who will interrupt the hidden secrets of the land as you walk through ancient groves or perch in a strategically located watch tower (Machan). Our trained naturalist will take you across the flowing water of the Rapti River and the prime areas of the park to view nature's gifts like wild species of animal and birds blended with the surrounding flora and fauna. Early morning and late afternoon walk is the best to avoid mid day heat. Spot the view of deer, rhino, sloth bears and other wildlife.

A thrilling tour in a four wheel drive into the heart of the park will enable you to view some of the rarest species of animals, birds etc, usually deep beyond the beaten track. We will take you across the river in to the jungle in four wheels drive vehicles and have more frequent sightings of the parks unique animals.
A typical hand-made dugout canoe will take you a ride on the great Rapti River where you can see gharials and crocodiles basking in the sun and enjoy watching many colorful birds on the way.
Village visit will be accompanied by an expert naturalist who knows the area well. You will gain insight the indigenous Tharus, the ancient native people of the Chitwan jungle. Also experience the local routes and typical lifestyles of villagers. This gives visitors an opportunity to intermingle with locals.
A cultural program performed by the Tharus is another way to enjoy and make meaningful contrast of visit. Get entertain with stick dances and folk songs. The drumbeat and the agile breathtaking stick dance performed by the Tharus people. Their rhythmic movements and the exciting drumbeat may urge you to join them in their performances.
The park is well known as a paradise for the birds. Bird lovers will have a wonderful opportunity to see many species of birds here. There are more than 500 species of birds in the Park that can be seen in many exciting location river, grassland and the forests. Species like the Giant Hornbill, Lesser Frolic and the paradise Flycatcher will also attract your attention when traveling along the banks of the Rapti River.
It is a unique experience to take a bath with an elephant in the Rapti River. You might even find yourself taking a surprise shower from an elephant's trunk while you are riding on its back.
Are all safari activities done inside the National Park?
Except Elephant Safari, all other activities are done inside the Chitwan National Park. Elephant Safari is done in Community Forest.
Is there a Child Discount?
Yes we have child discount offer, if your child is below 4 years, it is completely free. And if they are below 10, then you need to pay 70% of the Adult Price. Above 10 years full cost will be charged
What is the driving time from Kathmandu to Chitwan? And Chitwan to Pokhara?
Kathmandu to Chitwan is approx 5 hrs and from Chitwan to Pokhara 4-4.5 hrs.

How safe is it to travel by Road?
Yes, it is safe to travel by road. We suggest you to take a Private Vehicle which is more safe and convenient for your journey.
Do you do Pick-up from Bus Station?
Yes, our representative pick-up from Sauraha Bus Station for FREE.
Is Chitwan and Sauraha the Same?
Chitwan is a district name and Sauraha is the small village where most of the hotel and lodge are located and conduct the safari tour.
Is Elephant Bathing Possible Though out a year?
Elephant Bathing is only possible during Summer Time.
Is Jeep Safari Possible through out a year?
Jeep Safari in Chitwan National Park is only possible from 1st week of November till end of June. If you wanted to do the Jeep safari in 20,000 Lake, it is possible throughout a year.
What sort of accommodation can I expect?
We will provide a cottage type A/C accommodation during your Chitwan Jungle Safari trip.
What type food can I expect?
The food provide in the lodge is buffet in variety and if not many guest in the house you can choose from the menu also. There is always choice of American, Mexican, Chinese, Indian, Nepali foods
What is the best time to come for Chitwan Jungle Safari?
The best time for this safari is February to Mid June and September to December.
What temperature can I expect?
Normally Chitwan National park is bit warmer than Kathmandu and Pokhara. But, it will be cold during the month of winter (December, January and February).
Is it possible to charge my iPod, digital camera or batteries?
Yes it is possible to charge the batteries, we advice to bring your adapters, the plugs might be different here than you are using so don’t forget to check it up on your arrival, you can buy the adaptors easily in Kathmandu, where many stores in the street sell it.
Can I buy Local Sim card how about the telephone Calls?
You can buy the local Sim card in Kathmandu on your arrival or in Chitwan also, Ncell sime card is easy to get ( you need passport copy and passport size photo), Telephone calls can be made from the hotel that you are staying in also.
How much additional money do I need?
As all the meals, accommodation, jungle programmes are included in the package, the extra cost you need to consider is for the drinks, depends on your drinking and spending habits USD 10 to 15 is enough to buy mineral water, chocolates and other drinks
Is the water OK to drink? Do I need to bring purifying tablets/filter?
The water comes in tap or in the room is not recommended for drink.
We recommend to use bottled water that is available everywhere.
Can I add extra day in the mentioned package in your website?
You can add the extra day by paying additional costs to cover guides, accommodation and food, we can arrange a different activities also if you like to add more extra days.
