Annapurna Ghandruk Trekking with Jungle Safari at Chitwan National Park.

With little time to organise4 my trip to Nepal, Puru from above the Himalaya Trekking was incredibly helpful in making the most of my short time here. I did the best view of Annapurna trek and visited the Chitwan National park; both were spectacular and would recommend to anyone visiting Nepal.

Every aspect from pick up and drop off, food, accommodation and activities were very well organized.

I enjoyed my time here immensely and owe much of that to Above the Himalaya Trekking.

Thank you

Ghandruk Loop Trekking, Bhutan Cultural Tour June

Marcia Valdujo

Puru suggested a tour that suits very well. All the guides that were with us were very professional, they knew everything about Nepal´s culture and all the places we´ve been were wonderful. The people at the agency office were very polite, very competent. The guide Anju was great showing us all Kathmandu, the temples, the stupas, we loved her! And during the trekking, Phurba and Sunil were perfect, telling us all about the small villages and the local culture. Even going in a season considered not the best one to visit Nepal, we had lucky. The weather was great, it did not rained and we could see very clearly Annapurna South, Machapuchare, Annapurna III. Meeting the local people during the trekking was the most exciting experience. At, Buthan, the agency was also very good. Hope to come back very soon!

Annapurna Ghandruk Trekking May

AJ Andrews

Had a great trekking experience through Puru and his staff. I spent a day
in Kathmandu exploring the city and then did a 4/5 day loop through the
Annapurna region stopping at Poon Hill for a nice look out view.

The tour guide in Kathmandu was amazing, he was up beat, friendly, had tons
of good info and made for a very enjoyable day around the city.

On my trek I went with Hari as my guide and he was awesome. We are about
the same age and he was easy to joke with so we got along great. As well,
he knew all the good places to stop for views, to eat, and to stay over
night that were just a step above what it seemed most others were
experiencing.

Puru himself also did a great job checking in with me, making sure I had
everything I need, answering any questions and making sure everything was
organized smoothly to a T and that accommodations were always up to or
exceeding expectations.

Thanks again guys! Hopefully I'll get back there to see you again some day.

Annapurna Ghandruk Trekking

I had only six days in Nepal and contacted Above the Himalayas to see if they could arrange a trip for me. Puru always replied very promptly and organised everything including internal flights, airport transfers and hotels. I didn't need to worry about a thing. I also found the prices quoted to be reasonable. I did the three-day Ghandruk loop in the Annapurna region, and had a fantastic time. My guide Joti was very friendly and helpful.

I wasn't very keen on my first hotel in Kathmandu (Shree Tibet) and when Puru came by to say hello I mentioned it. When I returned to Kathmandu after my hike, he had booked a different hotel for me. Overall I was very happy with the level of service. Puru listened to all of my comments and queries and actually took action in response. That's not always the case, and was very much appreciated!
