Everest base camp charity trek is trekking to the heartland of mountain and satisfaction for the social good work. Since the successful ascent of Everest the Khumbu region has enjoyed the international attention. We will follow the footsteps of Tensing Norgay and Edmond Hillary. Our Everest base camp charity trek provides you with lifelong memories of the Himalayas whereas allowing you to contribute to deprived children within Nepal. The profit generated from such trips will be donated to schools and other social works.

The trek to Everest base camp from Lukla takes you through lush valleys with abundant flora and fauna, past friendly Sherpa villages and Buddhist monasteries through the land of the legendary Sherpa’s into the Sagarmatha (Everest) national park. The Everest base camp trek is not only famous for its proximity of world’s highest peak but also for its friendly Sherpa people. Picturesque Sherpa villages, great variety of cultures, traditions and active Buddhist monasteries are the highlights of EBC charity trekking.

We follow the classic trail to Namche Bazaar, Khumjung and Lobuche to the Everest Base Camp and go on to Kalapathar. From Tengboche to Pangboche (3,985m) the trail rises through meadows where graze yak. We climb up amongst large boulders to the broad summit of Kalapathar (5,545m), which offers the best view of Everest and Khumbu Glacier. After visit a Kalapathar you will have an opportunity to visit Everest base camp, located at the foot of the Khumbu ice fall we will spend a day in Everest Base Camp. After having a memorable time in Everest Base camp we will trek back to Gorakshep.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu airport Transfer to hotel (1320m/4330ft)
We will meet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to the concerned hotel by private coach. After refreshment, we have meeting at our office and go through the process of equipment checking, discuss about the trekking and meeting your trekking guide. Likewise, we process National Park Permits. You can walk around and see the city life of Kathmandu. 

Day 02: Tour of Kathmandu Valley including World Heritages Sites (6/7 hour tour)
After breakfast our tour guide will accompany you for the Sight-seeing tour of Kathmandu valley which includes the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. Also visit Monkey Temple, the Swyambhunath (2000 years old temple). Return to the hotel.

Day 03: Flight from KTM to Lukla and Trekking to Phakding (2652m):
After having 40 minutes of scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The journey begins from Lukla and continues to Phakding for about 3 hours. You will enjoy charming views of Mt Nupla, Kusum Kangaru and Mount Kwongde Range. At night you will stay at Phakding.

Day 04: Phakding trekking to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
Begin with an easy climb to Jhorsalle, continuing waterfalls and other cultural as well as natural items that remains memorable. At day time, we will pass through Sherpa villages and magnificent forests. Pass through rhododendron trees, Magnolia trees and giant firs. Trek steep climbing to beautiful village of Namche bazaar (3440m) with further spectacular views and a comfortable place to spend the second night of the trek.

Day 05: Acclimatization day in Namche (3440m)
Acclimatization is most important before proceeding to a higher elevation. Our suggestion would be walk slow, take rest quite a few places and drink enough water. It is therefore recommended that you take a short day's hike to Thame, Khunde, and Khumjung or up to Everest View Hotel which provide a very close up view of Mt Everest. Enjoy and explore the Sherpa culture of Namche.

Day 06: Namche Bazaar trekking to Tengboche (3,867m).
After walking for an hour you will arrive at Phungithanga. Tengboche sits, surrounded by dwarf firs and Rhododendrons, holds your attention here. It is the perfect place as it provides an inspiring panorama of Himalayan giants. A traditional site with its wonderful Gompa (monastery) is spiritual center of the Khumbu region where the rimpoche (Lama Re-incarnate) exists.

Day 07: Tengboche trekking to Pheriche
Beyond Tengboche the altitude really starts to tell. The trail droops down to Dingboche, crosses the Imja Khola and climbs past superb mani stones ( carved with the Tibetan Buddhist chant om mani padme hum) to Pangboche at 3860m The Gompa here is worth visiting. Then the trail start climbs to Pheriche 4240m. Where there is a medical facility, which gives lectures everyday on Altitude Sickness.

Day 08: Day 08: Rest day in Pheriche for the acclimatization
Another acclimatization day, again walking up and then coming back down is better than just resting in high altitude, you can make a day trip to Nangkartshang Gompa or up the hill to look down on to Dingboche, Either walk offers good views of Everest and other surroundings mountains .

Day 09: Pheriche trekking to Lobuche (4940m): -
The trail climbs to Phalang karpo at 4340m then Duglha at 4620m,From Dughla the trail ascends the broad, gently slopping valley and climb steeply in to the terminal moraine of the Khumbu glacier then left in to the memorial area Chukpilhara, before reaching the Lobuche at 4930m

Day 10: Lobuche trekking to Gorakshep
The trail from Lobuche follows the grassy ablation valley with great views of Pumori then crosses tributary glaciers to reach the dry lake bed of Gokrakchep. Stop for lunch then climb Kalapattar to get the best views of Everest and the surrounding mountains, then and back to Gorakshep for the evening.

Day 11: Gorekshep trekking to Everest Base Camp back to Lobuche
Early morning we walk to Everest Base Camp, visit Everest base camp area and work down to Lobuche.

Day 12: Lobuche trekking to Dingboche
Staying the night at Dingboche, makes an interesting accommodation alternative.

Day 13: Dingboche trekking to Tengboche

Day 14: Tengboche trekking to Namche
We will trek down through the hillside blanketed by rhododendron and juniper trees. If it's spring, pink and red rhododendron flowers ablaze our surroundings from Tengboche. Finally we will arrive at Namche for overnight stay.

Day 15: Namche Bazaar trekking back to Lukla (2850m) 6-7 hour:
Today the trail descends steeply downward before crossing the suspension bridges on Dudh Koshi River. From here the trail becomes more level and natural. We will work though rhododendron and pine forests with the view of distance snow covered peak before arriving Phakding after lunch continue trekking to Lukla. Our last night with your trekking team remains memorable.

Day 16: Flight from Lukla - KTM
Saying goodbye to our porters, we board our flight and make the exciting one-hour flight back to Kathmandu. If the flight is under schedule, we are likely to be back at our hotel before noon and you can have good shower and afternoon rest.

Day 17: Free day
Today you will be free to spend the afternoon shopping: It does also can be spare day in case of bad weather in Lukla which makes the Lukla flight delayed and cancel. In the evening you can enjoy a typical Nepalese dinner and cultural show.

Day 18: Depart Kathmandu:
If you are leaving Nepal and not continuing your holiday here in Nepal, we will take you to the Kathmandu Airport to catch your flight home.

Your trek Back pack/duffle bag:Your baggage on trek will be carried by our porters, the maximum weight per trekkers is 15kg including your sleeping bag and down jacket, Other items not required on trek can be stored in our office or your hotel in Kathmandu
