The Sirubari village trekking is recently opened model home stay trekking and tour destination in Nepal. As this village lies in Syangja district southwest of Pokhara, our trail begins with a short drive and walk from Pokhara which is the major tourist center of the Annapurna region. Sirubari village is a totally unspoiled Gurung settlement in the hills at 1700 meters above sea level. The climate is ideal at all times of the year with no snow ever falling in the village itself. Day 10: Farewell Departure
Day 1: Greetings at Kathmandu Airport
We will meet you at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to your hotel. When you have had your time to settle in and freshen up after your long fight, you will be invited to visit our office for a briefing about your program. You will have meeting with your trekking guide and discuss about the equipment needed for the trekking and we will process for the trekking permits. If you arrive at night we will have same discussion in next day morning after your breakfast.
Day 2: A full day recreational tour of Kathmandu, the capital valley
The next morning after breakfast you will leave for a full day sightseeing tour around the Kathmandu valley. You can pay your homage visiting center of pilgrimage Pashupatinath Temple (for Hindus) and Swyambhunath (for Buddhists). These are very ancient and historical pride of Nepal importantly enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage sites. The biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhnath and the fine arts and historical architecture of Kathmandu Durbar Square reflects the uniqueness and diversity in Nepalese culture. On journey back to hotel, you can travel around the local areas, gullies and lifestyle. You can perhaps take relaxed walk through the famous streets like Thamel, New road etc.
Day 3: Flight or Drive to Pokhara, 25 minutes flight or 6-7 hour drive.
After having your breakfast, we will drive you to the Domestic Airport to take a 25 minutes flight to Pokhara. Or if you wish you can take a Tourist bus to Pokhara about 6-7 hour drive exploring & enjoying with scenic beauty all the way around. In the evening, a boating trip on Phewa Lake will be followed where you can enjoy the spectacular views of Annapurna Himalaya Range reflected in all its glory in the calm green water of the lake.
Day 4: Pokhara trekking to Arjunchaupari
Today we will take a drive to Arjunchaupari. After having our breakfast here, our trekking trail starts to Sirubari village. We will pass watching natural beauties and landscapes through the trek. We will have our lunch in the village of Sirubari. We will be greatly welcomed and offered with blessings by the Lama Gurus. We will have typical local snacks and spend our night enjoying the traditional programs.
Day 5: Explore the village and its surroundings
Today we will spend our day in the village of Sirubari and nearby habitats. Hiking to the neighboring villages can be quite amazing experiencing the village life and man made paths. You will enjoy different culture and traditions of the local people in these villages and get time to understand their way of livings and life style. Explore the surroundings to your fullest enjoying the village and spend your night back to the village.
Day 6: Climb to Dahare Hill
After having the breakfast, today we will climb to Dahare Hill. It is very good view point to have the splendid views of the surrounding mountains and the exotic village scenery. Climb down to the village and spend your evening with the family with varieties of cultural programs. The open village life in Sirubari would probably be the best experience for you.
Day 7:Dahare Hill to Pokhara
Today we will return to Pokhara via Arjunchaupari. We will have walking trail up to Arjunchaupari and then take a drive back to Pokhara.
Day 8: Full day sight seeing of Pokhara City
Pokhara is another famous destination of Nepal; a dreamland to be called. Early in the morning we can take a taxi to the village of Sarangkot set high above Pokhara on a ledge. Here you will be able to view the beautiful sunrise as it spreads slowly across the spectacular snowcapped Himalaya mountain ranges.
After lunch visit famous David's fall, the Tibetan refugees' camp, Mahendra cave and ancient museum. In the evening, a boating trip on Phewa Lake will be followed where you can enjoy the spectacular views of Annapurna Himalaya Range reflected in all it's glory in the calm green water of the lake and visit Bindavasini Temple lying in middle of the lake.
Day 9: Pokhara to Kathmandu, 25 minutes flight or 6-7 hour drive.
You can take a flight or drive by tourist bus/Private car to Kathmandu. At the evening you can have your last night in Nepal enjoying the Nepali cultural dinner show, taking some beautiful snaps and making up your mind for the returning journey. (Or you may stay longer for short tours such as drives at National parks, rafting, Tibet tours, mountain flight etc).
A huge range of Western, European and Nepali cuisine offers you very delicious taste all around in city. You can have a greetings exchanging among friends and buy some souvenirs.
Day 10: Farewell Departure
Pack up your entire luggage and check for anything you might have left. This can be the last minute preparation to leave. We will drop you to the International airportto catch your flight back to your home and wish for your Safe journey.

Passport and Visas:
First, be sure you have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. You can obtain visas for Nepal from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or up on arrival in Kathmandu Airport. Nepalese visas cost USD 25 for 15 days and USD 40 for 30 days till date.
Get the required visa for Nepal.
You can get Nepal visa prior to arrival from the Nepalese Embassy at your home country. Likewise, you can easily get an up on arrival visa at Kathmandu airport and other different borders from Nepal. Bring Official Papers
Some of the required official documents are your valid passport, 4 extra passport sized photographs (for trekking permits), travel insurance, airline tickets and luggage tags. Visas can be obtained upon entry into Nepal. For detail information we request you to visit our visa page.
Money & Credit card Info
We find that most of the credit card, master and visa card is blocked from your card provider. It may be because of a security reason. It, sometimes, may bring you in problematic situation that you can't get money from ATMs and that you find difficult to pay for your treks and tour. To find yourself free from this problem, you can call to your card provider before you travel to Nepal and inform there that you are traveling to Nepal. Ensure them to give the authorization for the payment. In Nepal you have to pay 3.5 % credit card commission s per Nepal Bank rules, on top of your payable amount for the trek cost. So, please be sure that you bring some cash in USD to pay us. Likewise, be sure you have brought some small amount for your daily expenses as well as for those items which are not included in our cost. We request you not to change money in the Airport. Our clients must have comprehensive travel insurance package. Their insurance must cover against medical, personal accident, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, lost of gears, natural calamity, theft of or damage to baggage etc.
Load shedding (Electricity crisis) in Nepal
We are sorry to inform you that though Nepal is rich in water resource, there is electricity crisis in Nepal. It is more likely that there is electricity off for some hours in day and night time. Most of the hotels in Kathmandu, Pokhara and other cities are likely to have no battery backup. Air condition may not work and, sometimes, TV and other electric utensils may not run. Some hotel is likely to run the TV and AC also. However, only few of them are in this category.
So, be prepared for this while you are traveling here. For your ease, we recommend you to bring the flashlight with extra bulbs and batteries.
Who can trek?
No special degree of fitness is required and that there is no age barrier. If you can have fun walking for 3-6 hours up and down hills to Nepal, pack your luggage and join us for an exhilarating and unforgettable journey. All the necessary things for your trekking will be arranged by us. What you can do is to enjoy the beautiful scenery and magnificent view of Nepal Himalayas.
Our Trekking Dates
Most of our treks start on the third day of your arrival. On the first day of your arrival, we will pick you from the airport and let you know your hotel. However, it depends on your arrival time. If your flight is early, we are likely to invite you to our office and make yourself comfort with ideas and brief information on your trek package. If you arrive at night, all the arrangements are likely to made the morning. Second day, it is our package to take you for sightseeing tour within Kathmandu valley. However, the trekkers who have limited time can start their trekking from the second day. We can arrange all the necessary trekking permits and other utensils in advance in case you have limited time. It is your third day that you will fly out of Kathmandu. However, if any further arrangement is still at wait, you can enjoy your trek the next day.
Clothing and Equipment for Traveling in Nepal
Trekking in the Himalayas need to arrangement of equipment as you have to find yourself comfortable at higher altitude. The basic clothing item that you are expected to be prepared with are well described here. Remember that excess baggage is likely to be a burden for yourself and your supporting staff. "Pack light, but pack right", is our motto. Buying and Renting Equipment in Kathmandu
It is not really necessary to spend large amount of money buying extra equipment and clothing prior to your trip. It is because most of the trekking equipment can be hired from many adventure shops within Kathmandu. Most of the gear is locally manufactured (hence a lot cheaper). Some Chinese gear are likely to be more expensive but qualitative. Sleeping bag and down jacket are easily rented. Each item can be rented for less than USD 1, for a day. You have to manage other items buying them yourself. However, these items are more likely to be cheaper than those in your hometown. We will arrange all the necessary items you need on the second day of your arrival. Moreover, we ourselves will fascinate you to buy the goods.
Vaccination for Nepal
All travelers should consult with their physician or update on vaccination requirements before travel. (Your doctor or health-care provider will determine what you will need, depending on factors such as your health and immunization history, areas of the country you will be visiting, and planned activities)
For traveling to Nepal; we recommend you to take a vaccination of Polio, Tetanus, Typhoid, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Rabies etc, it is not really must but recommended.
How to Book

We need 20% booking amount to confirm your booking, the payment can be made through the Bank transfer, Credit card payment (Master/Visa card ) or through online money transfers also Money Gram, Western Unions or others. After we get the 20% amount we will confirm your booking and you will get the official booking and payment receipt. The final balance for the tour will be paid up on arrival in Kathmandu.
