Day 1: Welcome at Kathmandu Airport
We will be present there at airport for your convenience to greet you and transfer to your desired hotel. As you become comfortable and freshen up after your long journey, you will be asked to pay your visit at our office for a briefing about your program. You will have meeting with your trekking guide and discuss about the equipment needed for the trekking and we will process for the trekking permits. If you arrive at night we will have same discussion in next day morning after your breakfast.
Day 2: Arrive in Lhasa (3650m)
The Starting day of the Lhasa Everest Base Camp Tour, you arrive at Lhasa via Nepal or mainland China. Early morning transfer to the international airport for the hour-long flight to Lhasa that takes us right across the main Himalayan range and provides us with magnificent mountain views. The flight provides you the magnificent views of Everest (8848m), Kanchenjunga (8536m) and other Himalayan peaks. Upon arrival at Gonggar airport you will be met by our representative and taken to hotel. You are suggested to take rest and drink lots of fluids, which will help you to get acclimatized in the Tibetan Altitude.
Day 3: Lhasa Sightseeing Tour
We will visit Lhasa\'s many monasteries and sites, such as the Sera Monastery, and the Norbulingka, the summer palace of the Dalai Lama. At Sera Monastery, you will get an insight into the important aspects of Tibetan Buddhism. You pay a visit to Norbulingka, the summer retreat of the Dalai Lama. Completed in 1956, the handsome building is ornately decorated with Tibetan carvings and paintings. See the wonderful collection of ancient murals and statues as well as scriptures written in gold powder, wonderful scroll paintings, tapestries and Thangka. Visit the Jokhang Temple, a spiritual center of Tibetan people built during songtsen Gompo’s reign by princess Wencheng of tang dynasty, 647 A.D. The inner circuit is also situated inside the temple and is lined with prayer-wheel and murals outlined in gold on red background, which depict the thousand Buddha, interspersed with Stupas and relief-images. The temple is surrounded by the Barkhor market, where you will stroll through the busy lanes that seem to have resisted all invasions of the modern world and return back to hotel for overnight.
Day 4: Another Lhasa
Sightseeing Tour day
Today you will visit the spectacular Potala Palace and Drepung Monastery. It is the most striking landmark in Lhasa and an architectural wonder. Potala palace is one of the most beautiful monuments in Tibet with a vast array of intricate Tibetan murals and beautiful statues. Elegantly decorated with hundreds of Thangka paintings, frescos and images created hundreds of years ago the Potala palace is a perfect example of how ancient monuments should be preserved. We also visit Drepung Monastery, which was founded in the 14th century and was once the largest in the world, with a population of around 10,000 monks. Tibetans\' respect and belief are immensely knotted with this monastery; evening free for Shopping. After the day’s tour is over, you are escorted back to your hotel for a well- earned rest.
Day 5: Lhasa
to Shigatse (3900m)
Xigatze/Shigatse lies in the west of Lhasa through the northern road about 280km. We will be amazed to have the scenic drive crossing over Gyatchu La Mountain. Drive to Xigatze move along the valley made by Brahmaputra River (Yarlung Tsangpo). Shigatse is the second largest city in Tibet. Tashilhunpo Monastery, being one of the largest functioning monasteries in Tibet is the major attraction of Shigatse. We spend our night in hotel enjoying the local traditions.
Day 6: Shigatse to Gyantse (3950m)
At morning after having the breakfast we will have a little sightseeing tour. We will also visit Panchen Lama\'s Tashlhumpu Monastery. Then from here we will drive to the valley of Gyantse of about 90km distance passing the beautiful valleys and colorful Tibetan villages. We will visit Gyantse Dzong and Gyantse Kumbum. Gyantse Dzong fort dates back to the fourteenth century and offers some of the most amazing views of Gyantse and the surrounding Nyang Chu Valley. Gyantse Kumbum has a large gold-domed Stupa and houses, several chapels and Tibetan Buddhist murals.
Day 7: Gyantse to Tsedang (3400m)
Today you will have a full day picturesque drive crossing over Karola (5010m), Kambala (4794m), and colorful Yamdrok Lake. We continue our drive along the Tibetan lifeline river Brahmaputra River on to Tsedang. We spend our night in hotel.
Day 8: Tsedang to Samye Tsedang
Today is also the scenic drive to Samye Tsedang along the other side of Brahmaputra River. Visit the Samye Monastery which is 8th century 1st Buddhist Monastery in Tibet on the way. At evening we will drive back to Tsedang and visit Yumbulakhang & Thandruk Monastery. Spend your night in Hotel.
Day 9: Tsedang to Kathmandu
Early morning we will drive (2hrs) to airport for your departure flight to Kathmandu. You may also join to your onward destination from Lhasa.

All accommodation lodgings have been chosen for their standard of hygiene, standard of service, location and food quality. All accommodation is based on twin sharing basis, during your tour we will use Hotel Flora or Snowland in Lhasa, Single supplement will be provided on request it cost US$ 120 Single Supplement Fee.
