Kathmandu Valley Rim Trekking
Kathmandu valley, the capital city of Nepal is popular for both historical insight and cultural diversity. It offers some excellent short trek. Within the sight of metropolis one can perceive traditional art, architectures and rural life all at a same time. The valley rim lies between 1800m and 2800m altitude.
Shivapuri Lake forms the northern rim of Kathmandu valley. Likewise, the hill top of Pulchouki with Godawari to its base and Kirtipur to Champadevi are some of its highlights. Moreover, one can equally enjoy Nagarjung and Nagarkot as well. Nagarkot, for example, offers spectacular Mountain View as well as a panoramic view of Kathmandu valley. This is one of the best spots to view Mount Everest as well as other snow-topped peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal.
Most of the world heritages enlisted by UNESCO falls under Kathmandu Valley. Pashupatinath, greatest Hindu temple, Swyambunath, Buddhist shrine to the hill top and Hanumandhoka durbar square, a historical palace area are few spots among many others.
In autumn and winter there are wonderful mountains vistas, which can, form certain viewpoints, stretch from Everest in the east to Annapurna in the west. Those visitors who are with less time for their tour finds trekking through valley the excellent choice.

Kathmandu Valley Trekking Itinerary
Days 1: Meet at Kathmandu Airport: We will meet you at the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to your hotel. When you have had time to settle in and freshen up after your long flight, you will be invited to visit our office for a briefing about your program. During this visit we will help you check your equipment and facilitate the processing of other necessary items such as National Park Permits etc.
Day 02: Kathmandu Drive to Sundarijal (1350m) trekking to Chisopani (2140m). Drive about 1 hour from Kathmandu takes you to trek start point Sundarijal. From Sundarijal the trail climb up besides the water pipes which supplies Kathmandu drinking water, the trail will enter through the Shivapuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve. The trail continues up hill through the forest to meet the Mulkharka Villages with the inhabitants of Tamanag people. The trail continues with climbing on the forest of rhododendron and oaks after pass the Borlang Bhanjyang trail goes downhill to Chisopani (2140m), The mountain views are excellent from here can see the views of Annapurna to Everest, overnight at lodge
Day 03: Chisopani trekking to Nagarkot ( 2170m) After breakfast, we continue our trekking through mostly flat downhill trail to Nagarkot Trekking geos between the village and forest with the great views of country site and mountain. Nagarkot is a hill resort; from here we get breathtaking views of Mt. Everest, Manaslu and Gauri Shankar, Dorje Lhakpa and other mountains. Overnight in hotel.
Day 04: Nagarkot trekking to Dhulikhel (1700m): We wake up early to catch the sun rising over the snowy Himalayan peaks. The first rays of the sun firing the peaks a lightest red slowly lighting up the Himalayas from Kanchenjunga and Everest in the far East of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri in the West. After breakfast we will trek down to old Newari town of Dhulikhel, overnight hotel
Day 05: Dhulikhel tour of Bhaktapur/Patan and drive back to Kathmandu: after breakfast drive to Bhaktapur, we explore Bhaktapur city’s Durbar Square. Attractions include the Palace of 55 Windows, Golden Gate, Nyatapole Temple and several temples. Bhaktapur is also famous for its pottery, from here we will explore Patan City (city of fine arts) The city is full of Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples, with fine bronze gateways, guardian deities also and wonderful carvings. Noted for its craftsmen and metal workers, it is also known as the city of artists. The city is believed to have been built during the reign of Vira Deva in 299 A.D, evening joint Nepali cultural dinner show
Day 06: Depart Kathmandu : If you are leaving Nepal and not continuing your holiday here in Nepal, we will take you to the Kathmandu Airport to catch your flight home. Our staff will oversee your safe and timely arrival at the Tribhuvan International Terminal and help you arrange your last minute departure details. We will wish you a happy journey in the traditional and cultural way of Nepal and hope to see you again!
