Pokhara Dhampus Hiking
This 3 day hiking offer a best mountain view with scenic local villages of different faces of Nepal people. Start a trek from Pokhara and will visit Dhampus Dhampus is a Gurung Village is inhabited by a mix of people: Gurung, Brahman, Magar communities and it offers a spectaular view of the Himalayan ranges including the Anapurna and Machhapuchhare after we will trek to Sarangkot another popular destination from where Here you can see panoramic views of Annapurna (8091m/ 26,545ft), Manasalu (8165m/ 26,781ft), Ganesh Himal (7446m/ 24,422ft), Dhaulagiri (8167m/ 26,795ft), Machhapuchare (the sacred mountain) and 25 other mountains over 6000 meters (19,680ft) high. This area also offers you views of the Pokhara Valley with all its natural beauty. Sarangkot is another spot renown for seeing the sunrise over the Himalayas
Hiking Itinerary Details:
Day 1: Meet at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel
Day 2: Sight-seeing of Kathmandu: Leave for full day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley includes the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. Also visit Monkey Temple the Swyambhunath (2000 years old temple) and visit Patan city of fine arts. Back to hotel and stay.
Day 3: Drive to Phedi by car (30 minutes) and trek up to Dhampus, working mostly uphill through cultivated fields and local villages. This scenic Gurung Village is inhabited by a mix of people: Gurung, Brahman, Magar communities and it offers a spectaular view of the Himalayan ranges including the Anapurna and Machhapuchhare range.
Day 4: Dhampus to Sarangkot: Wake up early in the morning for sunrise and good Mountain View . Today the trail descends down to Dhampus River (Stream) and after crossing the river, trail ascends gradually through the paddy fields and small forest to reach Naudanda Village . After having a lunch in Naudanda working through the Chhetri and Brahmins Villages after working slowly 3 hour you will arrive Sarangkot. Sarangkot offers a Himalayan panorama consisting of the mighty peaks such as the Annapurnas, Himalchuli, Machhapuchhre, and Lamjung Lamjung himal.
Day 5: Wake up early in the morning to observe the sunrise over the Whole Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Ranges including fishtail as well as other Soaring Mountain . After having a breakfast trek down to Pokhara which will take you slowly 3 hours down hill through small forest and cultivated fields.
Day 6: Free day in Pokhara, you can visit Devis fall, Tibetan refugee camp, World peace Stupa, Cave and boating in the lake
Day 7: Drive back or fly out to Kathmandu Evening join Nepali cultural dinner show.
Day 8: Final departure transfer to airport.

The total cost for the trek or tour you decide you want to do will depend on several different factors. The type of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and/or Pokhara will make a difference to the overall cost (budget to 5 star accommodation) The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses. The number of guides and/or porters required will also affect the total cost of your trek. For these reasons the same trek/tour can vary in price quite substantially.
