Winter Trekking in Nepal
Nepal, a country of ecological diversity with its altitude ranging from 60m from sea level to the height of Mt. Everest, offers diverse forms of trekking options throughout the year. In general, four seasons are considered in Nepal and that each season has its own particular attraction to offer.
In the winter (December to Mid February), the weather is cool and the sky is clear with occasional snowfalls at higher elevations. This season is best for trekking in lower elevations generally below 3200m. Mornings and nights are cold but daytime temperatures are mild when accompanied with sunny weather.
