Manaslu circuit trek is one of the thrilling and exciting journeys of a lifetime. It is situated at the border of the great Annapurna at the east and Ganesh Himal in the east. According to experts, Manaslu trek is also considered as the best trek of Nepal. The circuit trek is filled with a stunning view of the Mount Manaslu (8,163) meter from the sea level. Which is the eighty’s highest mountain peak in the world? Unlike other treks of Nepal, Manaslu trek is lesser crowded. This is usually 13 – 15-day trek. You will start your trek from Besisahar and ends in Kathmandu valley. The path takes you to the steamy plains with the walkways of the rice and millet farming. You will be amazed to watch the remarkable view of the trail created by the Cheo Himal, Him lung Himal, Nemjung, Gyaji Kang and Kang Guru pass down the damp of the glacier with the Annapurna II ahead. Manaslu Circuit Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,360m)
you will be arriving in Kathmandu valley by enjoying the astonishing aerial view of the valley surrounded by the amazing Himalayan. You will be pick up by the team of the above the Himalayan at the airport then, you will be escorted to your hotel. After taking some rest you can refresh yourself roam around the street of Nepal. You will be served Nepali food in typical Nepali style at the time of dinner. You will also have a group meeting regarding the trek.

Day 2: Sightseeing Kathmandu
today you will explore the capital of Nepal Kathmandu. Kathmandu is very rich in culture and tradition. The historical places like Boudhanath stupa and Pashupatinath which are listed by UNSECO in the world’s heritage site are situated in Kathmandu. You can spend your day sightseeing around different places and observing the local Nepali culture and religion. You can visit Thamel bazar which is famous for buying the cultural things of Nepal. Tourists visiting Nepal can do some shopping for curious things.

 Day 3 :Drive from Kathmandu to Arughat bazar
Your first destination for this trip starts from Kathmandu valley. aright is situated at a distance of 550m from Kathmandu valley. it takes about 5 – 6 hours to reach Arughat from Kathmandu. you will take a ride through Pokhara highway to Khaireni bazaar of Gorkha. You can take a bus or jeep. You can see the terraced rice and millet farming. Though the road is pretty rough, you will enjoy the amazing view.

Day 4: Trek to Seti Khola

After having early morning breakfast at Arughat, you will move further to your next destination i.e. Seti Khola. It normally takes a 5-hour trek to reach Seti Khola from Arughat. The path goes through the beautiful villages like Simre and Morder along with the stunning Budi Gandaki river on the northern side. You will have to climb uphill toward Kyoropani. You can also stay at the lodge at the hotel.

Day 5: Trek to Machha Khola
Machha Khola is situated at a distance of 900m from Seti Khola. You can observe various landscapes like forests, rice paddies, a cliff-face ridge, a rushing river, and several beauty of waterfalls to the way to Machha Khola. You will be so pleased to watch the farmlands of the village of Lapbesi. After that, you’ll further climb near a rocky outcrop where the valley opens up next to the river, which flows more peacefully here. You will be dropping down to the river shore, you’ll walk along with rounded stones before climbing over a side ridge. It takes about 5 -6 hours to reach Machha Khola.

Day 6: Trek to Jagat
After Machha Khola you will be heading up to Jagat valley. the trail is thin and is headed upward and downward gently thorough the trail. At first, you will be going to the village of Khola Bensi after crossing the Tharo Khola. After walking for an hour you will reach to Tatopani where you can take a break for a few hours. From here the trail becomes sheerer, then you will cross the bridge over Yaru Khola. There you can see and observe the lifestyle of the Gurung community. Crossing the bank of the Budhi Gandaki. trekking along the river you will climb up to the high trail of Jagat.

 Day 7: Trek to EkkliBhatti and trek to Bihi
Walking duration:5/6 hrs
Distance: 1610m
Today you will have an amazing day with an easy 5 hrs walk to reach up to EkkkliBhatti. You will walk ascending to the trail, that passes through the terraced hill of Saguleri village. Al that village you will observe the astounding view of Sringi Himal. After 6 hrs of walk will leads you to Lihi.

Day 8: Trek to Lihi
Duration: 6 hrs walk
Distance: 2920 m
Walk up early in the morning and after breakfast this days trek will start. After an moderate 6 hours walk, the trail will take you to wooden bridge over the Budhi Gandaki river. Along the trail you will pass some small houses, cultivated fields, terrace farming etc. You will encounter the incredible panoramic views of the peaks such as Naike Peak, Manaslu and Manaslu North, etc.

Day 9: Trek to Samagaun and Exploration day

Distance: 3500 m
Trekking Duration: 6 hrs
Day 9th of the trek will follow the right section of the riverbank that will show you the views of various magical peaks. You can explore the Samagaun throughout the day. The gain is surrounded by beautiful mountains in a peaceful forest. Have easy 1-day acclimatization at Samagaun and explore the place to the fullest.

Day 10: Trek to Dharmasala (4460 m) and Trek in Bhimphedi (5215 m)
Trek Duration: 4 hrs/ 6 hrs
Today, you will walk ahead to the upper course that seems to never end. There you will be surrounded by beautiful mountain vistas. After crossing over the east bank of the river you will reach the last permanent settlement which shows you the impressive permanent settlement, which is called Sumdu, after crossing the stream. These villages dry up which leads to the migration of the settlement lying near the Larkya Glacier.
After this, a 6 hrs grueling walk will lead you to an altitude of 5215 meters. Today’s trail will ascend towards Cho Chanda and then goes to the Larkya La pass. Be aware that today’s trekking needs lots of strength and stamina. Reaching the top will expose you to the dozens of sparkling mountains such as Himlung Himal (7,126m), Cheo Himal (6,820m), Gyagi Kung, Kang Kuru (6,981m) and the Annapurna II (7,937m).

Day 11: Trek to Tilje(3900m) and Trek to Tal(1725 m)
Trek Duration: 5 hrs/5 hrs
Today’s trek will include conquering heights and lengths, this trek will be easy and normal. You will observe the paddy fields along the way. Moving forward will take you to cross Karcha La Pass and then the trail will go down through the fig trees and blooming rhododendron forests.
Continuing your marvelous journey will lead you to Tal passing through the Marshyandiriver.

Day 12: Trek to Jagat
After viewing the lovely Landscapes in Tal you will be exposed to the tight gorge that opens to the Tal. You will have to walk like 5 hrs today. This area was formed when the valley was blocked by landscapes. Then you must pass through the Himalayan range, that lies between the Manaslu and Annapurna range to view the extraordinary surrounding. Then you reach to Syange after crossing the suspension bridge. After that, you will reach to stiff climb up to Bahundanda which was followed by a descent Ngadi and Bulbule.

Day 13: Trek to Beshishahar
This day marks the second last day of trekking. You have to walk and easy 5 hr walk and trail goes all descending. Retracing all the trekking routes would be your task today. You may also take the little-known east bank route to reach Besi Sahar from Bhulebule.

Day 14: Drive back to Kathmandu and final Departure
Day 14 is the last day of the Manaslu circuit trekking. The 2 weeks long most joyful trekking concludes this day. After breakfast at the hotel, you will be having a 7 hrs easy scenic drive to Kathmandu. On the way back you get to observe Marshyangdi and Trishuliriver. Observing the people and their lifestyle is a real pleasure. If you have an extra day, you can have a day visit to famous places to Kathmandu and have a short tour such as rafting, short day hike, game drives, some go-wild safaris at National parks, etc. Otherwise, our office representative wills drop-off to the International Airport for the final departure.

All in all, the trail in the Manaslu circuit trek is all covered with sal forest, subtropical waterfalls, and hot springs and it is always good to walk from such trail. Manaslu Circuit trek Itinerary can be completed within 10 days also and could be extended up to 22 days also.
Beautiful vistas of Ganesh Himal, Mount Manaslu, Himalchuli and Ngadi Chuli and Siringi would melt your heart.
