Nepal trip planner makes a plan for families.

Nepal offers families with children an incredible experience on many levels. Many hotels now have family-interconnected rooms. The capital city features many kid-friendly garden courtyard-style restaurants far from the busy streets. Most restaurants accommodate children, and asking them to make subtle changes to menu items, like reducing spices, is worthwhile. When planning a trip for you, we will use our expertise to make the best itinerary and find reasonable accommodations.

Our Nepal trip planner will find hotels in the city with triple rooms or maybe rooms with four beds. Some rooms are interconnected, and you can request an additional mattress in your room or, in higher-budget hotels, a cot.

Kathmandu Valley sightseeing spots are favored among many children visiting Kathmandu. We can take you to the Monkey Temple, ride on an Autorickshaw at Thamel Street, and walk to Durbar Square. For a better experience, they can visit Bhaktapur and learn how to make a clay pot. The streets here are pedestrian-friendly and crammed with hidden treasures, from potters spinning clay vessels to Thangka painters performing on large, colorful artworks.

Enjoy the outdoor activities.

The lake town of Pokhara is another popular place for families with children visiting Nepal. Lake Phewa offers safe boating overlooking calm waters. A hike up to the planet Peace Stupa overlooking the lakeside may be an excellent outing for youngsters.

After a brief boat ride across the lake, you hike for about 1 hour before reaching a glistening stupa with panoramic views of the lake and Annapurna mountains. Descending the opposite side offers visits to underground caves, Devi’s waterfalls, and even a robotic Buddha museum.

The paragliding and microlights offer a tremendous experience for young adults to fly on the brink of the mountains. Confirm you ask the flight company regarding age restrictions for younger children.

In Pokhara, there are many treks that children can enjoy. Counting on the age of your child, you’ll pick short 3-4 days treks to Poon Hill or Dhampus. Older children who enjoy trekking could also participate in more extended tours like the Annapurna base camp and the Mardi Himal trek. If the children are 2 to 3 years old, our porter can carry them to the basket. Our Nepal trip planning experts make you a suitable itinerary for your children’s age.

A jungle safari may be an excellent adventure for youngsters. Jungle activities in Chitwan Park offer even more incredible experiences for youngsters visiting Nepal. Half-day or full-day jungle treks are famous for the vital possibility of seeing a wild rhino, elephant, deer, or maybe a tiger in the wild. Again, it’s possible to rent a porter to assist in carrying young children.

All our guides are Government license holders.

We consistently push the boundaries by creating unique and authentic travel options and innovative itineraries to fulfill your desires. All our guides are registered with the Government Trekking and Touring Department and have completed suitable preparations to ensure you are in sound hands.

You will also receive a ‘Training Plan’ from our Nepal trip planner, which will help you polish up your strength before you reach Nepal. After a day or two of trekking, you will feel fit and comfortable if you have devoted a little time to the fitness program before leaving home. Hillwalking, Yoga, light Gym, etc., are some excellent activities to wake up muscles, which may have been dormant due to sedentary jobs, such as sitting at the office desk or driving vehicles!

By Flight: Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport (IATA: KTM, ICAO: VNKT) is the only airport serving international flights to/from Nepal. You can take a flight to Kathmandu from different parts of China. Daily flights are from Lhasa, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Kunming, Hong Kong, etc.). Also, flights are from Bhutan (Paro), India (Delhi/Mumbai/Kolkata/Bengaluru…), Bangladesh, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates.

Tibet Nepal Overland Driving

Many travelers enjoy an overland drive from Tibet via Everest. The entire trip takes four days but offers excellent sightseeing. Ranging from Lhasa, it takes at some point to Shigatse via Yamdrok and Gyantse, at some point to Everest from Shigatse, at some point from Everest to Gyirong, and another day from Gyirong to Kathmandu. You’ll fully appreciate Tibet’s natural beauty and cultural charm within four days.

Needed Documents to travel to Nepal

A Nepal Visa is required for all foreign nationals (except Indian nationals) who want to visit Nepal and take a vacation there. It would help to have a passport valid for six months to enter Nepal. For foreign travelers who need a holiday in Nepal, three sorts of Nepal visas are consistent with different tour durations and purposes, including Single-entry Visa, Multi-entry Visa, and Transit Visa. If you propose to increase your Nepal tour to Tibet, Tibet Enter Permit, Group Visa from Nepal, and Tibet Border Pass are also necessary.

What to Pack

For foreign travelers to Nepal, documents such as a valid passport and Nepal Visa are essential to pack. Then, you’re advised to require an outsized backpack for giant luggage and a smaller bag for valuables. In Nepal, rain gears are necessary in summer, while warm clothing is a must once you travel in winter.

Wear light and warm clothing if you propose a trekking tour in Nepal. Casual styles are better because you’ll experience a good range of climates. A good warm jacket, a windproof jacket, and walking boots with ankle support are necessary. Get a suggestion from our Nepal trip planner for the best packing tips.

When visiting a temple, always circumambulate it clockwise. It is a tradition to require shoes before entering a temple or a Nepalese home. Also, getting inside some temples is forbidden in Nepal, so look for such notices. It’ll be more polite if you seek permission to photograph inside temples or spiritual ceremonies.
