Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) and Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) have been actualizing Tims—the Trekkers’ Information Management System (TIMS) since the first of January 2008.

All the ongoing trekkers are trekking in diverse ranges of the nation. This is also obliged to get a TIMS Card. Dissimilar to the Trekking Registration Certificate (TRC), the TIMS card will be accessible to trekkers. Trekking organizations, part of TAAN, will be utilized as TIMS counters.

The TAAN head office in Kathmandu and its Pokhara branch office will also issue a TIMS card. If essential, NTB will open its desk to give free individual tourist (Fits) slips.

There are two TIMS Certificates: the blue declaration for organized trekkers and the green slip for Free Individual Tourists (FIT) Trekkers. You can get a TIMS from Our Trekking Company.
